Discrete Segmented Series

Our Segmented Series of LED displays are an excellent choice for standalone position indicators. 16 segmented displays are available in 1" & 2.2" characters in either single or double digit configurations. They also utilize 16 segment displays to offer full alpha-numeric capabilities with or without arrows. 7 segmented displays will only be available with our .08" & 4" displays. If two position indicators are required within the same car, CE offers auxiliary units. This feature offers increased savings to installation. CE Segmented Series are built in modules so that they are flexible enough to allow custom configuration. The Segmented Series offers many of the special features that are provided on the MICRO COMM 3-wire network.

The Segmented Series offers error detection and correction feature which means each signal goes through a redundancy check to ensure that the signal follows a logical sequence.

The Series is also capable of latching the signals on to eliminate flickering or a blank display until another good signal is received.

The Segmented Series provides a self test feature. The driver generates a signal itself using your actual floor markings to assist in trouble-shooting the installation.
